New in: The Antidote & The Hitchhiker ‘Trilogy’

Hi!

Do you have fun plans for the weekend? I’m not doing anything special really.

Last week I received two books I ordered a while back: The Antidote by Oliver Burkeman and The Hitchhiker ‘Trilogy’ by Douglas Adams.

The Antidote is a book for people who cannot stand positive thinking. A great book for myself, I immediatly thought when I first saw it! The book was released on my birthday. Coincidence? I think not!
Oliver Burkeman is a columnist at the Guardian. In the video below he explains what his book is about.

I watched the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie once and I kinda liked it. So when I saw the ‘trilogy’ (which consists of five books) for €9.95 I had to have it! I don’t know when I am going to read them because I have a look of books that I still want (uhm NEED!) to read: Harry Potter, Dune, Inheritence cycle, continue with a Song of Ice and fire… Ah well we’ll see! No doubt that I have enough to read for the next couple of years, LOL!

What are your favorite books? What books are absolutely ‘must read’ items according to you?

XOXO

Hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy. <3

I also love books written by Robin Hobb and Katherine Kerr, very heavy on the fantasy though.

Thanks! I really need to look into the books written by the authors you mentioned :)
